WEEK 9 EOC: Wall Street Journal Editorial Opinion

Marijuana is getting legal in different states. There are four states are legal for smoking marijuana and a lot of people out of those legal states still smoke it even it is illegal.  "Mr. Obama could lead that debate, or at least offer his view, but he knows that the politics of drug legalization is still tricky and there could be a backlash in states with hot Senate races next year. Yet he also doesn't want to offend his pot-loving liberal base. So his political default is simply to declare he won't enforce current federal law"

After all I don't really know what is going on with the marijuana low in this country and don't really know anything about it because where I come from we don't have marijuana and people don't really know about it. I think that marijuana should be legal in this country the reason is I think making it legal like cigarettes is better because people won't have to worry about spending too much money purchasing them and also worrying about smoking it or worrying about getting caught by the cops. 

Legalizing marijuana is just better for this country. But at the same time there are so much more other opinions and of course people who don't smoke or know about marijuana would probably say no because it is bad for your health and so on. But I should say we should look in to the studies about it and how it could benefit people I believe people would have a different mind of marijuana.

"All states are explicitly barred from regulating the possession, use, distribution and sale of pot and narcotics under the federal Controlled Substances Act of 1970. Like it or not, Congress declared marijuana to be a dangerous drug that should be banned." 

At the end, my opinion about marijuana being legal or not ? I think yes I do have something to say and that is it should be legal. Stop seeing people getting into trouble just because of smoking some herbs like cigarettes. "Don't be surprised if millions of Americans begin to follow the President's example and conclude that they also don't have to follow laws they don't like—and not merely smoking reefer on the front porch."  I believer that a lot of people that smokes weed are not bad people. They just like the feeling of getting really relax and high. I don't think that's anything wrong or against the low of being relax right ? So why not make it legal and have it in stores and have people smoke it anywhere and anytime they want ? We should think about it.
