Snowden Asylum & Contract ?
People live in the world where many laws exist and have eyes all over you. Laws you could never
break especially towards the government or the country. Everyone knows
the Snowden Asylum issue is affecting the U.S and its reputation across
the globe. People have different opinions about it and beyond that a lot
of citizens of the United States are shock realizing that they no longer have any privacy. At the same time, do we really know what the consequences are?
"Snowden, who exposed classified U.S. programs that collect telephone and
Internet data, has been seeking asylum around the world as American
authorities pressed for his return to face prosecution. Snowden revealed
that the U.S. government was secretly collecting bulk data on phone and
Internet use to monitor online activity of foreigners believed to be
plotting terrorist attacks" http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-08-01/snowden-gets-russian-asylum-ending-confinement-in-moscow-airport.htm
We know this is not what we want but people who strongly disagree or have
negative opinions about this issue, can we really guarantee when we are not watch over by
the government via email, text messages or even phone calls, can we really be safe ? how do we know we won't have another terrorist attacks? Yes, we ALL know that Snowden agreed the contact and he broke those rules that were on the contract he agreed to. But I think he was just doing the right thing. He wants people to know the truth and let the citizens knowing that their moves are being watched and for sure will continually be watch. But right now, this is not just an issue about the citizens of U.S but the whole entire U.S including the President of the United States. Mr. Snowden has already leaked highly classified information about U.S.
eavesdropping on foreign government officials. Officials are concerned
that he has additional and potentially more damaging information about
how the U.S. penetrates foreign government computers, which Russia and
other governments could use to circumvent U.S. surveillance measures.

Mr. Snowden is the most wanted person around the world. Because this issue is exposed to the public and the globe. It is influencing many countries. American lawmakers threatened worse. But all know retaliation against
Russia has a cost. The U.S. needs Russia to fight terrorism, get
supplies to troops in Afghanistan and prevent Iran from developing
nuclear weapons.

The Americans are trying to do anything to protect their country. It's no longer about privacy it is more than that. It is about the safety of America and the relationships between America and Russia and many other countries that are friendly with Russia.
